San Marino sits on and around Monte Titano, entirely surrounded by Italy, with an old town at the summit that vehicles reach on sufferance and modern towns below it that they reach easily. Which of those two you are going to changes everything about the delivery.
Why a van
The hill is the argument. Anything larger than a van is a problem on the approach to the upper town, and a container would land at an Italian port and finish by road regardless. A van does the whole journey and can actually get to the address at the end of it.

Overland through France, across the Alps into Italy, down the Adriatic side and up the hill. Motorway for nearly all of it, and a steep, winding final approach that is the only genuinely demanding part.
